What is Invisalign?

Invisible braces, known as clear aligners / Invisalign, are an orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten your teeth. If you require alignment correction of your teeth, your dentist may provide clear aligners as an alternative to traditional braces to enable you to keep smiling confidently without using metal brackets. How does it work?
The procedure is simple, remove the aligners while you eat, floss, or brush, and put them back once finished. How long that it takes?

As a result, your dentist can monitor your progress during the treatment.
  • A few weeks after your consultation, you will receive a box of custom-made, clear aligners ready to use. Each aligner is to be used for 1-2 weeks, as your dentist advises. After this period, you will replace the old aligner with the next one.
  • During the process, you will need to visit your dentist once every 6-8 weeks to evaluate your progress. You will also receive your next set of aligners at this appointment.
  • As you progress through each aligner, you will begin to see your new, straighter smile shape.
  • Keep in mind that you must wear your aligners for at least 20-22 hours per day for optimal results.
